What a cookie even is
A cookie is a tiny text file your browser saves so a website can remember something — like whether you’ve already seen a banner. They can’t run programs, read your files, or follow you home. They’re notes, not spies.
This site runs on a handful of them. Some keep things working, some tell us which pages guests actually read. None of them sell you to anyone — see the privacy policy for the bigger picture.
Cookies we actually set
Essential cookies run the site and don’t need consent. Analytics ones only activate if you hit “Accept” on the banner — decline and nothing extra loads.
Third-party cookies
A few cookies come from services we embed rather than from us:
- Google Maps — the map on our contacts page sets location prefs owned by Google
- Google Fonts — serves our typefaces; may log standard request data
- CDN providers — Bootstrap and icon libraries load from public CDNs
Each of those plays by its own privacy policy — links to them sit at reception if you want the bedtime reading.

The banner on our homepage accepts or declines analytics cookies. Declined? We remember that too — in one essential cookie.
In your browser
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies entirely — the site still works, the banner will just ask again next visit.
